With DuraPost you have peace of mind that it will last with a guarantee of up to 25 years on the powder coated option whereas it is well known that timber posts will often rot through in just a few years in damp conditions and concrete posts will chip, crack and even snap as they are corroded by the elements.

So, what are Durapost® steel fencing posts?

Traditionally, fence posts have been made from either concrete or timber. Now a new type of fencing posts made from steel is available as an alternative, providing lots of extra benefits :

• Durability - 25 year guarantee
• Strength - withstands winds up to 110mph
• Versatility - works with panel, closeboard or post and rail fencing
• Ease of installation - 20% of the weight of concrete posts
• Contemporary finish - plain steel or colour powder coated options

DuraPost® is a complete fencing system made up of steel fence posts and caps, corner posts, gravel boards and capping rails that can be used with both prefabricated fence panels and close board fencing with Arris, Cant or 3x2 rails.

It's available in two different heights to support a 1.8m panel or larger, the posts can accommodate a panel thickness of up to 48mm.

Unfinished galvanised steel fence posts give a contemporary, in-line look when placed alongside timber fencing, however it is also available in a range of three coloured powder-coated finishes.

How strong are they?

The main advantages of steel fencing posts over concrete or timber are their strength and durability. DuraPost® is manufactured in the UK from galvanised steel which has been cold-rolled, giving it incredible strength - in laboratory tests the steel posts can withstand winds of 110mph.

It is also incredibly durable. A typical wooden fence post (even if pressure treated) may have a lifespan of 10 years, whereas DuraPost® will not weather or rust and has a 25 year guarantee, built to last even longer than that.

Vento composite fence panels are modern and low maintenance, meaning you’ll never need to paint, treat or stain them. Made from 60-70% recycled material, they are a durable blend of wood and plastic that is naturally resistant to rot, splitting, warping, and cracking. Composite products are superior to timber when exposed to harsh weather conditions, UV rays and other environmental factors such as insects and mould. Not only are these composite-wood and plastic products incredibly strong, but they also come with a 15-year guarantee as standard.

Best matched with DuraPost galvanised steel fence posts, the cross rails feature a unique design where panels are fitted through slots in the rail, securing them without the need for fixings. This enables the fence panels to be easily installed to a high standard and as quickly as possible. The composite panels are also manufactured from galvanised steel, nano-coated and then powder coated to produce a durable weather-resistant fence panel.

Vento composite fence panels are available in three stylish colours – Anthracite Grey, Sepia Brown and Natural.
